Festo 153431 QSKL-1/4-6 – Self-Sealing Push-In L-Fitting, R1/4 Male Thread to 6 mm Tubing
The Festo 153431 (type QSKL-1/4-6) is a self-closing push-in L-fitting from Festo’s QSK series. It connects 6 mm OD pneumatic tubing at 90° to an R1/4 male thread. Its key feature is the integrated shut-off function: when the tube is removed, the fitting closes automatically, so tubing or downstream components can be disconnected without shutting off the supply line.
The fitting is orientable, so the tube outlet can be turned to the required direction after installation. The tapered R1/4 thread has a self-sealing PTFE coating, which allows the fitting to be re-used up to five times. The housing is PBT, the screw-in stud is nickel-plated brass, the tube clamping is stainless steel and the tube seal is NBR. The tube side uses the push-pull principle with a blue release ring.
