The Oriental Motor 5GVR120B is a KII Series parallel shaft gearhead with a 120:1 gear ratio, a 90 mm (3.54 in) frame and a metric 18 mm output shaft. It is designed for Oriental Motor GVR-type pinion shaft motors in the 90 mm, 90 W class, such as the 5IK90GVR induction motors and the 5IK90UGVR speed control motors.
The 5GVR120B reduces motor speed by a factor of 120. With the 90 W 5IK90GVR-UA induction motor at 115 VAC and 60 Hz, it gives a rated speed of 15 rpm and the gearhead’s maximum rated torque of 40 N·m (350 lb-in). It suits very slow-running conveyors, indexing tables, mixers and other drives that need high torque at very low speed.
