Schmersal 101210614 AZM 161CC-12/12RKATU-024 – Solenoid Interlock with Rear Escape Release, 24 V AC/DC
The Schmersal 101210614 (AZM 161CC-12/12RKATU-024) is an electromechanical solenoid interlock from the Schmersal AZM 161 series. It keeps hinged, sliding and removable guards locked during critical machine or process steps.
This version works on the power-to-lock principle: the guard is locked only while the solenoid is energised. A red push button on the rear acts as an escape release, so anyone trapped inside the hazardous area can open the guard. It has 2,000 N holding force, an increased latching force of 30 N, six contacts (four safety, two auxiliary) and a double-insulated IP67 thermoplastic enclosure.
