The 4GN18K from Oriental Motor is a GN-type parallel shaft gearhead with an 18:1 ratio, for 80 mm (3.15 in.) square frame motors with a GN-type pinion shaft. It gives an output of about 100 r/min at 60 Hz (83 r/min at 50 Hz), a practical medium speed for light conveyors, feeders, dispensers and small automated machinery. It combines a useful increase in torque with a compact footprint. The 10 mm metric output shaft accepts standard pulleys, sprockets and couplings, and the gearhead fits directly onto the motor flange.
