PPC-11A-3D-Y-Z-74-1 Winner Hydraulics Low-Leakage Proportional Reducing/Relieving Valve
The Winner Hydraulics PPC-11A-3D-Y-Z-74-1 is the low-leakage version of Winner’s direct-acting, spool-type electro-proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve for the 11A-3 cavity. Winner describes it as an essentially zero-leakage, direct-acting design that is suitable for brake circuit applications. Maximum leakage is halved to approximately 20 cc/min, against 40 cc/min for the standard PPC-11A-3D-Y-Z-74. Like the standard model, it gives high pressure with no command, offers improved dynamic response, and is rated for 20 L/min at 350 bar under US patent US9234605.
Operating Principle
In reducing mode, flow passes from port 2 (inlet) to port 1 (reduced pressure) at the commanded setting. If port 1 pressure exceeds the coil-induced setting, the valve relieves from port 1 to port 3 (tank/drain) at full flow. During the transition between reducing and relieving the spool closes, minimising oil consumption. At zero current the valve holds its highest setting, and increasing the current reduces the pressure at port 1 proportionally.
