PRB-08W-2C-Y-Z Winner Hydraulics: Direct-Acting Proportional Pilot Relief Valve for 08W-2 Cavity
The Winner Hydraulics PRB-08W-2C-Y-Z is the 08W-2 cavity member of Winner’s PRB-2C family of standard direct-acting proportional pilot relief valves. It has a 3/4″-16UNF-2A thread and a compact 16 mm tube with an EC-16B coil. It relieves at low pressure with no command, and its setting rises in proportion to coil current. With a 350 bar rating, 1 L/min rated flow (2 L/min maximum) and five control ranges, it is the electro-proportional pilot of choice for W-series pilot cavities.
Operating Principle
The poppet is held closed by a solenoid force set by the analog input signal. When pressure at port 1 exceeds that force, the poppet lifts and flow passes from port 1 to port 2, limiting system pressure at the commanded value. Zero current gives low pressure; more current gives a higher setting. Back pressure at port 2 (tank) adds directly to the setting at a 1:1 ratio.
