PRB-8A-2C-Y-Z Winner Hydraulics Compact Direct-Acting Proportional Pilot Relief Valve
The Winner Hydraulics PRB-8A-2C-Y-Z is a standard direct-acting, poppet-type proportional relief valve with pilot capacity, built on a compact 16 mm tube for the 8A-2 cavity. It provides low pressure with no command, and its relief setting rises in proportion to coil current. It is rated to 350 bar with 1 L/min rated flow (2 L/min maximum). Six control pressure ranges, from 20 bar up to 350 bar, make it the most finely graded 8A-2 proportional pilot in Winner’s PRB range, suited to low-pressure and high-pressure circuits alike.
Operation
The analog command signal sets the solenoid force holding the poppet closed. Once pressure at port 1 overcomes that force, the poppet lifts and flow passes from port 1 to port 2, limiting pressure to the commanded value. Zero current means a low relief setting, and increasing current raises it proportionally. Back pressure at port 2 (tank) adds to the setting at a 1:1 ratio.
