The Winner Hydraulics RP-12W-26-Y-8 is a pilot-operated, balanced piston relief valve from Winner’s RP-26-8 series, built for the 12W-2 cavity. It is rated for 200 L/min at a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar. Its main stage includes an integral 8A-2 control cavity that accepts any 8A-2 pressure control cartridge as the pilot. That makes it a compact, high-flow main stage for adjustable, remote or electro-proportional pressure relief in manifolds machined for W-series cavities.
How the RP-12W-26-Y-8 Regulates Pressure
The pilot cartridge in the 8A-2 cavity sets the control pressure. When pressure at port 1 overcomes that setting, the main stage opens port 2 and meters flow from port 1 to port 2 (P to T) to regulate system pressure. The pilot setting determines the pressure differential between the ports. Back pressure at port 2 (tank) adds directly to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio. Port 2 is rated for full pressure.
