Its main stage has an integral 8A-2 pilot control cavity, which accepts any 8A-2 pressure control cartridge. Winner commonly pairs it with its PRB-8A or PRA-8A proportional relief pilots, so the system relief pressure can be set and varied electrically. How It Works
When pressure at port 1 overcomes the pilot setting, the main poppet opens to port 2 and meters flow to regulate the pressure. The pilot cartridge in the 8A-2 cavity sets the pressure difference between port 1 and port 2. Back pressure at port 2 (the tank port) adds directly to the valve setting in a 1:1 ratio.
