The Winner Hydraulics RC-10A-2G-Y-8 is a screw-in cartridge relief valve. It is pilot-operated with a balanced poppet, and it has a built-in reverse flow check. Its main stage includes an integral 8A control cavity, which takes a separate pilot or control cartridge. This lets you choose how the relief setting is adjusted or controlled. The valve accepts maximum pressure at port 2, so it can be used in cross-port relief circuits, such as hydraulic motor circuits on mobile and agricultural machinery, winches, slew drives and travel motors.

How It Works
When pressure at port 1 reaches the setting of the pilot stage, the balanced main poppet opens and relieves flow to port 2. Because the poppet is balanced, the valve gives stable relief across its flow range. If pressure at port 2 is higher, the integral check opens and allows reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. This makes up for flow on the low-pressure side of a hydraulic motor circuit.
