067B3211 Danfoss – TE 12 Thermostatic Element, R22/R407C, Range B with MOP −20 °C
The Danfoss 067B3211 is the low-temperature MOP version of the TE 12 thermostatic element for R22/R407C. It covers range B (−60 to −25 °C) and has a MOP (Maximum Operating Pressure) point of −20 °C. The MOP charge caps evaporating pressure when the system starts warm or comes out of defrost. This keeps the compressor within its motor load limits during pull-down, which matters in freezer rooms, frozen-food storage and other low-temperature plants served by TE 12 valves.
The element mounts on a TE 12 valve body with the appropriate orifice assembly. It can be replaced without removing the body from the line.

How the MOP Function Works
At high evaporator temperatures, a standard element keeps the valve wide open. This can overload the compressor until the system cools down. In an MOP element, the bulb charge limits the force on the diaphragm once the evaporating pressure reaches the MOP point. The valve then throttles and holds suction pressure down until normal operating conditions return.
