067B3209 Danfoss – TE 12 Thermostatic Expansion Valve Element, R22/R407C, Range N
The Danfoss 067B3209 is the thermostatic element for the Danfoss TE 12 expansion valve, charged for R22/R407C. The TE 12 is a larger valve than the TE 5, sized for higher-capacity air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The element is the active part of the valve: its bulb senses the evaporator outlet temperature and the element modulates the valve to control superheat. It fits a TE 12 valve body with the matching orifice assembly and can be replaced on its own when servicing an existing valve.

Applications
Range N covers most air-conditioning and medium-temperature refrigeration duties. Typical uses include chillers, packaged and split air-conditioning units, and commercial refrigeration plants running on R407C, or existing R22 installations. The 5 m capillary allows the bulb to be fitted at a distance from the valve on larger evaporators.
Compliance
The element is China RoHS compliant and carries EAC approval. Danfoss lists it as out of scope for EU RoHS.
