067B3388 Danfoss – TE 5 Thermostatic Expansion Valve Element, R404A/R507A, Range B with MOP
The Danfoss 067B3388 is a TE 5 thermostatic element for R404A/R507A, built for low-temperature refrigeration. It covers range B (−60 to −10 °C) and has a MOP (Maximum Operating Pressure) charge set at −5 °C. The MOP limits evaporating pressure after start-up or a defrost cycle, so the compressor motor is not overloaded when the system pulls down from warm conditions. Fitted to a TE 5 valve body with the appropriate orifice assembly, it makes a complete thermostatic expansion valve for freezer rooms, frozen-food cabinets, blast chillers and other low-temperature applications.

MOP Element vs. Standard Element
A standard element allows the valve to open fully at high evaporator temperatures. The MOP version closes the valve once evaporating pressure reaches the MOP point, holding suction pressure down until the system reaches its normal operating temperature. This is the usual choice for low-temperature systems where compressor overload at start-up is a concern.
Compliance
The element is EU RoHS compliant (with exemption 6(c)) and China RoHS compliant, and it carries EAC approval.
