The Danfoss 067B3342 is the thermostatic element for the Danfoss TE 5 thermostatic expansion valve, charged for R404A/R507A refrigerants. It is the valve’s “power head”: the bulb and capillary sense the evaporator outlet temperature, and the element adjusts the valve opening to keep superheat under control. Together with a TE 5 valve body and orifice assembly, it makes up a complete expansion valve for commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. Because the element can be replaced on its own, service engineers and OEMs can renew or re-specify the valve without changing the whole body.
