The Schneider Electric XPSUAK12AP is a multifunction safety relay from the Preventa XPS Universal (Harmony Safety Automation) range. A single module can monitor almost any common safety device. The required function is either built in or selected with front rotary selectors, so one reference can cover many different machine safety points. This makes it ideal for standardising spare parts. It reaches the highest safety levels, PL e / Category 4 and SIL 3, runs on 24 V AC/DC, and uses removable screw terminal blocks.

Diagnostics and Expansion
Yellow LEDs show the safety output status and each safety input (S12 and S22). The XPS Universal range can report more than 40 diagnostic messages, which speeds up troubleshooting. A lateral connector accepts an optional output extension module when more safety contacts are needed.
