HG-C1100 Panasonic CMOS Micro Laser Distance Sensor – 100 mm ±35 mm, 70 µm, NPN + Analog
The Panasonic HG-C1100 is a CMOS-type micro laser distance sensor from the HG-C series, with a measurement center distance of 100 mm and a measuring range of ±35 mm (65 to 135 mm). It combines precise distance measurement with a 70 µm repeatability and ±0.1 % F.S. linearity, using a ø120 µm red Class 2 laser spot. It also has a built-in digital display and both switching and analog outputs, all in a 35 g aluminum die-cast body. Because it is so light and compact, it can be mounted on moving parts of machines. Typical tasks include height and thickness checks, presence and positioning of small parts, warpage detection and in-line dimensional inspection. Response time is switchable between 1.5, 5 and 10 ms to balance speed against stability.
