The Panasonic DP-101A is a multifunction digital pressure sensor from the DP-100 series, made for non-corrosive gas and covering vacuum and positive pressure from −100.0 to +100.0 kPa (gauge). Its 30 mm square body has a dual 4 + 4-digit, 3-color LCD that shows the current value and the threshold at the same time. Thresholds can be set and checked without switching screens, and the output keeps working while settings are changed. The DP-101A combines an NPN comparative output with 1–5 V and 4–20 mA analog outputs and selectable response from 2.5 ms. That makes it a common choice for vacuum suction checks on pick-and-place grippers, vacuum pads, ejectors and pneumatic lines.
