WAGO 281-901 2-Conductor Through Terminal Block, 4 mm², CAGE CLAMP®
The WAGO 281-901 is a grey 2-conductor through terminal block for conductors up to 4 mm², with WAGO’s CAGE CLAMP® spring connection. It is the next size up from the 2.5 mm² 280-901. It handles a higher current in a 6 mm wide housing, which makes it well suited to power distribution circuits, motor feeds and supply wiring in control cabinets.
Higher Current in a Compact Block
The 281-901 is rated 800 V and 32 A, with a rated impulse voltage of 8 kV. That is a good step up from the 24 A of the 2.5 mm² 280-901, in a housing only 1 mm wider. It accepts solid and fine-stranded conductors from 0.08 to 4 mm² (28–12 AWG), with a strip length of 9–10 mm.
CAGE CLAMP®: Maintenance-Free Connection
With CAGE CLAMP®, each conductor is held by constant spring pressure. The connection never needs re-tightening and resists vibration. Conductors are inserted from the front after opening the clamp with an operating tool, which keeps wiring quick and tidy.
