WAGO 280-907 2-Conductor Ground Terminal Block, 2.5 mm², Green-Yellow
The WAGO 280-907 is a green-yellow 2-conductor ground (PE) terminal block for conductors up to 2.5 mm², with CAGE CLAMP® spring connection. It is the protective earth companion to the 280-901 (grey) and 280-902 (orange) through terminal blocks. It has the same 5 mm profile, so PE terminals line up neatly with the live terminals on the DIN rail.
Direct Earth Connection to the DIN Rail
Unlike a standard through terminal, the 280-907 makes a direct electrical connection to the DIN rail as soon as it is snapped on. The protective earth conductors connected to it are bonded to the mounting rail, which is in turn connected to the cabinet’s earthing system. It meets IEC/EN 60947-7-2, the standard for protective conductor terminal blocks.
CAGE CLAMP®: Reliable Earth Connections
With CAGE CLAMP®, each PE conductor is held by constant spring pressure. The connection never needs re-tightening and resists vibration, which is especially important for protective earth circuits. The block accepts solid and fine-stranded conductors from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² (28–12 AWG), with a strip length of 8–9 mm.
