WAGO 280-902 2-Conductor Through Terminal Block, 2.5 mm², Orange
The WAGO 280-902 is the orange version of WAGO’s popular 280-series 2-conductor through terminal block. It is rated for conductors up to 2.5 mm² and uses CAGE CLAMP® spring connection technology. Mechanically and electrically it matches the grey 280-901. The orange housing lets you mark circuits clearly in the control cabinet.
Why Orange?
In control cabinets, orange terminal blocks are commonly used to identify circuits that can remain live when the main disconnect switch is open, for example external control voltages, interlocking circuits or supplies fed from another panel. Using the 280-902 for these circuits helps maintenance staff see at a glance which terminals may still carry voltage, which improves safety during service work.
CAGE CLAMP®: Vibration-Proof and Maintenance-Free
With CAGE CLAMP®, the conductor is held by constant spring pressure. The connection never needs re-tightening and resists vibration. The block accepts solid and fine-stranded conductors from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² (28–12 AWG) and mounts on DIN-35 rails (35 x 15 and 35 x 7.5).
