WAGO 750-333 PROFIBUS DP Fieldbus Coupler, 2nd Generation, 12 MBd
The WAGO 750-333 is a fieldbus coupler that connects the I/O modules of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 to a PROFIBUS DP network. It is the head station of each I/O node. It exchanges process data between the I/O modules and the PROFIBUS master (typically a PLC), which makes it a core component in machine building, process automation and building services.
PROFIBUS DP up to 12 MBd
The 2nd-generation 750-333 supports baud rates from 9.6 kBd to 12 MBd, with fieldbus segments up to 1,200 m on copper cable to EN 50170. Up to 96 fieldbus nodes can be connected. Each node handles up to 63 I/O modules, with a process image of up to 244 bytes input and 244 bytes output. The PROFIBUS connection is a standard 9-pin D-sub socket, and the coupler is configured in the master with WAGO’s GSD file.
Power Supply and Field Distribution
The coupler takes a 24 V DC system supply (-25 to +30 %) and a separate 24 V DC field supply through CAGE CLAMP® connections. It distributes the field supply to the connected I/O modules through power jumper contacts, and provides up to 1,800 mA total current for the I/O modules. System and supply are isolated at 500 V.
Approved for Demanding Environments
The 750-333 carries ATEX and IECEx approvals for hazardous areas, UL listing for ordinary and hazardous locations, and a wide range of marine approvals (ABS, BV, DNV GL, KR, LR, NK, PRS, RINA). That makes it suitable for industrial plants, offshore and shipbuilding projects.
