Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-50UK Notch Wire Filter Element, 50 µm
The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-50UK is a genuine replacement element with a 50 µm notch wire medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. Notch wire is a different construction from woven wire gauze. It suits circuits with a high load of coarse particles, where the element clogs often and easy cleaning is an advantage.
What Notch Wire Offers
Taisei Kogyo describes its notch wire as a non-woven, single-layer material. That makes it easy to clean when clogged, and it gives stable filtration accuracy with very little chance of gaps. The 50UK is the only micron-rated notch wire grade. The other notch wire grades (200K, 150K, 100K and 60K) are rated in mesh.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-50UK, P-UM-10-50UK and P-UH-10A-50UK, and their 12 size equivalents.
