The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-150W is a genuine replacement element with a 150 mesh wire gauze medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. It belongs to Taisei Kogyo’s mesh-rated grades, which are graded by mesh count rather than microns. These elements work as protective barriers against larger debris, such as chips, weld spatter and assembly residue, with very low flow resistance.
Choosing a Mesh Grade
Taisei Kogyo offers four mesh grades in wire gauze: 200W (finest), 150W, 100W and 60W (coarsest). The 150W is a mid-point, commonly used where the circuit needs more protection than a 100 mesh screen but a lower pressure drop than a 200 mesh element. The same 150 mesh rating is also available in notch wire as 150K.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-150W, P-UM-10-150W and P-UH-10A-150W, and their 12 size equivalents.
