The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-5UW is a genuine replacement element with a 5 µm wire gauze medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. It is the finest wire gauze grade Taisei Kogyo offers. It suits applications that need fine filtration from a metal mesh element rather than a fibre or paper medium.
The Finest Wire Gauze Grade
Taisei Kogyo’s wire gauze range runs from 5 µm up to 60 mesh. The 5UW sits at the fine end. It gives a filtration rating close to the C-Fiber grades, but with a woven metal medium. For coarser wire gauze filtration in the same housing, choose 10UW, 20UW, 40UW or 50UW.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-5UW, P-UM-10-5UW and P-UH-10A-5UW, and their 12 size equivalents.
