Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-40U Paper Filter Element, 40 µm
The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-40U is a genuine replacement element with a 40 µm paper medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. Paper is the economical choice for routine hydraulic maintenance. At 40 µm it is the coarsest paper grade in the range, suited to protective filtration in mineral oil circuits where cost per change and low pressure drop matter more than very fine cleanliness.
Paper Grades in the U Series
Taisei Kogyo offers paper elements in 10 µm, 20 µm and 40 µm. The 40U is the most open of the three. According to Taisei Kogyo, the 20U and 40U paper grades are not available for water-glycol fluids. For those systems, choose a C-Fiber or wire gauze grade with the “P-G-” prefix.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-40U, P-UM-10-40U and P-UH-10A-40U, and their 12 size equivalents.
