Taisei Kogyo P-COS-H-08-A-20U Replacement Filter Element
The Taisei Kogyo P-COS-H-08-A-20U is the genuine replacement element for the Taisei Kogyo COS-H duplex oil filter in size 08 (25A). It has a 20 μm paper filter medium. The COS-H is a welded duplex filter built for continuously operating lubrication systems. The element can be replaced without stopping the machine, because oil is switched to the second chamber while the first is serviced.
How to Read the Part Number
- P-COS-H: replacement element for the COS-H duplex filter
- 08: size code 08, 25A inner diameter
- A: flow direction IN → OUT, used for paper, C-fiber and wire gauze media
- 20U: paper filter medium, 20 μm filtration rating
Application Notes
The COS-H filter housing is designed for mineral oil at a maximum working pressure of 2.0 MPa. According to Taisei Kogyo, the 20U paper grade is not available for water-glycol fluids. The sealing parts set for element replacement covers one filter, so a duplex assembly needs two sets.
