EUCHNER CES-A-AEA-04B Unicode Evaluation Unit for 4 Read Heads
The EUCHNER CES-A-AEA-04B (order no. 072000) is the unicode version of the four-channel CES-A evaluation unit. It accepts only actuators that have been taught in, so a spare or loose actuator can’t be used to defeat a guard. That makes it the choice where tamper resistance matters most. With read head and actuator, it reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
Unicode: Only Taught-In Actuators Are Recognised
Each actuator carries a unique transponder code. New actuators are taught in by setting a jumper, and only the actuator taught in last is detected. For multicode operation, where any suitable actuator is accepted, EUCHNER offers the CES-A-UEA-04B.
Four Guard Doors on One Unit
Up to four read heads can be connected, with four monitoring outputs (O1–O4) and a diagnostic output. Response time ranges from max. 210 ms with one active actuator to max. 450 ms with four. The two relay safety contacts are rated AC-15 230 V / 1.5 A and DC-13 24 V / 1.2 A. A start button and feedback loop can be connected.
