EUCHNER ESM-TE301 Time-Delayed Contact Expansion, 3 + 1 Contacts
The EUCHNER ESM-TE301 (order no. 085617) is the time-delayed contact expansion module in the ESM range. An ESM basic module drives it, and it adds three safety outputs that open after an adjustable delay rather than instantly. This lets a standard ESM-BA relay handle a controlled stop, such as braking a drive before cutting its main contactor, without replacing the basic module.
3 Time-Delayed Safety Contacts
The three redundant, positively driven safety contacts (17/18, 27/28, 37/38) open after a delay of 1 to 30 seconds, set with a potentiometer. There is also one normally closed auxiliary monitoring contact. The ESM-TE301 is rated Category 3 / PL d to EN ISO 13849-1 (PFHd 1.03 x 10⁻⁷).
Easy Integration
It draws only 1.5 W at 24 V DC, and the cumulative current is max. 10.5 A across all contacts. Earth-fault monitoring can be selected, and LEDs show the status.
