EUCHNER ESM-ES301 Contact Expansion Module, 3 + 1 Contacts
The EUCHNER ESM-ES301 (order no. 085614) is a contact expansion module for the ESM safety relay range. It is not a standalone safety relay. It is driven by an ESM basic module, such as the ESM-BA201 or ESM-BA301, and adds extra safety outputs to an existing safety circuit without a second input evaluation. The combination reaches up to Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
Add Safety Outputs Without Rewiring the Inputs
Each ESM-ES301 adds three redundant safety contacts (13/14, 23/24, 33/34) and one auxiliary monitoring contact. This is the practical answer when a machine needs more switched loads than the basic module provides. Earth-fault monitoring can be selected, and LEDs show the status.
Compact and Low Power
It draws only 1.2 W at 24 V DC, and the cumulative current is max. 10.5 A across all contacts.
