EUCHNER ESM-BT421 Time-Delay Safety Relay, 3 + 1 Contacts
The EUCHNER ESM-BT421 (order no. 090820) is the ESM-BT module with the most instant contacts. Three safety contacts open immediately and one opens after a delay. It suits machines where most circuits must be cut at once, while a single circuit, such as a brake or main contactor, needs a controlled run-down time. It runs on 24 V AC/DC and reaches PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
3 Instantaneous + 1 Delayed Contact
The delayed contact opens after an adjustable delay of 1 to 30 seconds, set with a potentiometer on the relay. The three non-delayed contacts are rated Category 4 / PL e (PFHd 4.22 x 10⁻⁸). The delayed contact is rated Category 3 / PL e (PFHd 8.84 x 10⁻⁸).
Response and Capacity
The response delay is max. 20 ms, and the cumulative current is max. 15 A across all contacts.
