EUCHNER ESM-BT401 Time-Delay Safety Relay, 4 Safety Contacts
The EUCHNER ESM-BT401 (order no. 090818) is a basic module from the ESM-BT time-delay range. It combines an instant safety shutdown with delayed switching in one unit. That suits machines whose drives need a controlled braking time before power is fully removed. It runs on 24 V AC/DC and reaches PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
1 Instantaneous + 3 Time-Delayed Contacts
Of its four redundant safety contacts, one opens immediately and three open after an adjustable delay of 1 to 30 seconds, set with a potentiometer. The non-delayed contact is rated Category 4 / PL e (PFHd 4.22 x 10⁻⁸). The delayed contacts are rated Category 3 / PL e (PFHd 8.84 x 10⁻⁸).
Monitored Inputs and Start Options
It supports single-channel or dual-channel control, with simultaneity, short-circuit and earth-fault monitoring. It can also run automatic or monitored start and monitor downstream contactors through the feedback loop.
