EUCHNER ESM-BA701 Safety Relay, 7 Safety Contacts
The EUCHNER ESM-BA701 (order no. 097224) is the highest-contact basic module in the ESM-BA range. It is designed for machines where one emergency stop or guard circuit must safely disconnect many loads at once. A single module provides seven redundant safety contacts, reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1 and runs on 24 V AC/DC.
7 Safety, 4 Auxiliary and 2 Monitoring Contacts
Besides the seven positively driven safety contacts, the ESM-BA701 has four floating auxiliary contacts for signalling and two transistor monitoring outputs for status feedback to the PLC. This means you don’t need to cascade several smaller relays or add contact expansion modules.
High Total Current Capacity
The cumulative current is max. 35 A across all contacts at 40 °C. It supports single-channel or dual-channel control, with optional short-circuit and earth-fault monitoring, and LEDs show the relay status.
