Kobold NKP-R-25013-R Product Overview
The Kobold NKP-R-25013-R is a heavy-duty, side-mounted plastic float level switch specifically engineered for high-reliability liquid level monitoring in aggressive chemical applications and high-temperature process environments. Manufactured entirely out of premium Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF), this compact «NKP-R» variant features a 1/2″ NPT process connection and an integrated 3-meter connection cable. It provides stable, maintenance-free point level signaling in vessels where internal space is limited or top/bottom tank entry is inaccessible.

Enhanced PVDF Chemical and Thermal Resistance
The specialized NKP-R-25013-R leverages a robust PVDF wetted assembly to deliver long-term mechanical survival against highly corrosive process liquids, such as concentrated acids, bases, and organic solvents. Capable of enduring continuous fluid temperatures up to 212°F (100°C), its internal reed switch contact configuration remains completely encapsulated inside the PVDF core. This protective barrier completely isolates critical electrical components from volatile atmospheric vapors and liquid ingress, preventing premature field failures.
Reversible Contact Architecture and Simplified Field Mounting
The NKP-R-25013-R features an adaptable contact arrangement that effortlessly accommodates both normally open (N/O) and normally closed (N/C) control setups. Rather than forcing plants to stock separate model variants, operators can change the active switching state by simply rotating the device housing 180 degrees about its horizontal axis during pipeline or vessel installation. As the liquid level shifts past the horizontal plane, an embedded magnet within the hinged float triggers the reed contact immediately, making it ideal for pump dry-run protection and automated tank overflow alarms.
