Constructed with precision case-hardened spur gears, the GFV5G50 minimizes internal mechanical friction and backlash to maintain rigid velocity control under variable load profiles. Due to the high-reduction gear train configuration, the output shaft rotates in the opposite direction of the motor shaft. When paired with a 120 W motor, the gearhead safely accommodates a permissible overhung (radial) load of up to 500 N at 10 mm from the shaft end (550 N at 20 mm) along with a continuous permissible axial thrust load limit of 150 N.
Maintenance-Free Industrial Integration
The GFV5G50 features a fully sealed, factory-lubricated enclosure, completely eliminating the need for periodic grease replenishment throughout its entire 10,000-hour rated operating span. By reducing the base motor velocity by a factor of 50, it transforms a standard 80 to 4000 r/min motor range into a highly stable 1.6 to 80 r/min output. Standardized structural dimensions and included mounting hardware permit immediate, secure coupling to automated conveyor systems, packaging machinery, and precise indexing stages.
